Somethin’ Else & Sony Music Entertainment debut Seeking, a new weekly podcast exploring life’s biggest questions and our journey for answers

Seeking Art FINAL[75]

Somethin’ Else and Sony Music Entertainment today premiered Seeking, a new weekly podcast exploring the questions that keep us all up at night and lengths we go in search of answers. Each week, public health researcher turned journalist Katherine Rowland sets out to talk to people who have gone to radical ends to find answers to our deepest and most discomforting questions.

Premiering today, season one dives into the portal of psychedelics and plant medicine to examine what the renaissance in mind-altering compounds means for mental health, healing and communities. Throughout the season, Rowland travels to Baltimore, the English countryside, and the Peruvian Amazonto meet the shamans, clinicians, scholars and activists behind all of this, and through her journey, she explores what it means for these ancient practices to go global, what’s lost and gained as psychedelics become pharmaceuticals, and something even more profound—what does it mean to heal?

“Seeking is all about our biggest questions and how our search for answers can take us to the edge,” said host Katherine Rowland. “With this podcast, we’re meeting people with unique, challenging, and inspiring ideas about what it means to be human, and this season we’re taking a deep and intimate journey into psychedelics and their healing potential.”

Seeking is executive produced by Lizzie Jacobs and Grant Irving at Somethin’ Else, a Sony Music Company.

Listeners can subscribe to Seeking each week on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher. For more information on the new podcast and all other Sony Podcast shows, follow @SonyPodcasts on Twitter and Instagram.
