At the start of November, the Somethin’ Else and Red Bull teams worked together to enhance the social storytelling of swimmer Ross Edgley’s record breaking swim around Great Britain. For the final section of the swim, we collaborated on a short form recap of the 157 day swim that was published shortly after its completion. On Facebook, the video was shared across Red Bull’s global page achieving over 1 million views. You can read the full story of Ross’ epic journey here.
In October 2018, we were appointed by Red Bull to work in close collaboration with their UK social media team. At the heart of the brief for our Studio Live team was a challenge to help bring a diverse range of stories – covering sport, fitness, music and gaming – to life on all social platforms.
Since appointment, this work has included assisting with the launch of Drift Queen with Queen B, Red Bull Timelaps, Halloween and coverage of Ross Edgley’s Great British swim.
The work is designed to help the in-house team enhance their social offering with creative and innovative content executions.
